Before You Meet

  • Meet in a public, well-lit place for your first meeting — meet at the venue, not at a home or car.
  • Tell a trusted friend or family member where you're going, who you're meeting, and when you expect to be back.
  • Keep your phone charged and with you the whole time.
  • Trust your instincts — it's okay to leave or end the date at any point, for any reason.
  • Don't share your home address, financial details, or sensitive personal information.

If Something Feels Wrong

  • Move to a safe, public place and ask for help from staff or bystanders if needed.
  • Contact a friend or family member, or call a hotline above.
  • If you're in danger, call 911 immediately.
  • Report the user through the in-app report button so we can take action and protect others.

After an Incident

You are not alone. Reach out to one of the hotlines above for confidential support, and consider speaking with local law enforcement or a healthcare provider. You can also report the incident to us through the in-app report button — every report is reviewed.
